Hello to you all, fellow DA friends!

My free time is very scarce, and I've only been here rarely lately. Thanking all the people is very time consuming so I have decided to make this post which will serve for this purpose.

Therefore, from the bottom of my heart, thank you very much to all those who favor or comment on my work.

Do not feel offended if I do not reply directly or immediately to one of your posts, I guarantee you that I really appreciate that you have spent some of your time to comment or favor something of mine!

I also ask you not to favor me by asking for other favs or points in exchange. I'm not on DA to collect hundreds of watchers or likes for which I'm just a number, I prefer to have fewer but really interested in what I do and vice versa. For the same reason it is not automatic that I respond to a like with a like. I can certainly browse your pages but not necessarily leave something if I don't feel like doing it. It would be hypocritical of me, which I can't stand in others let alone in myself!

So be aware of this when you leave your comment or fav and I will know that they are sincere because they want nothing in return. Likewise, if I leave you a comment, a llama or a fav I do it because I really think so and not for hypocrisy or convenience.

Thanks again to all of you, friends, observers and passers-by!

AI or not AI?

With the advent of AI I am seeing everywhere an invasion of works created in this way. I also wanted to try to play with an app, and I discovered that even if the final result can be beautiful it gives me no satisfaction! I saw some wonderful things around, but if I have to tell the truth in the end they are all similar.

I personally decided that I will take inspiration but I will continue to create with my human and imperfect intelligence. (Among other things, the AI is not perfect at all, if you pay attention to detail, you can also see nonsense of hands with six fingers or distorted arms ...)

I hope people continue to use their heads and do not leave everything in the hands of technology, even if it is right to use it and use the new means that you have available.

All this in the end was to tell you that everything I place here is only the result of my little human brain ... ^_^

RENDERING IN TIMES OF COVID

Hello dear friends and fellow deviants!
I hope you all are staying safe at home in these surreal days.
Here in Italy the emergency is still alarming so I have a lot of unusual (for me) freetime to spend at home and to keep me busy I've decided to take the big step and start studying how to use Daz Studio. 3D artists probably know what I'm talking about but the outsiders not. In short, it's another program of 3D rendering quite different from the one I use (Poser Pro 11). They started almost in parallel years ago, but then, for marketing purposes, they diverged their modus operandi in a drastical way and now there is no more real compatibility among the stuff you can use with one or the another. So if you want to play with certain products you have to use Poser while for others you need to use DS.
At the time I choose Poser because I thought (and still think) that DAZ is unnerving, more convolute and slow-rendering, but at the same time there was so much models I wanted to play with so I finally decided that I had to dominate it or die trying and fully busied myself among tutorials and downloading and installing stuff. Now, after a lot of trying, failing, fumbling, sweating and swearing it seems that I'm beginning to master it and I have some decent renders I feel enough comfortable to share with you!
At least I'll be a little more complete artist now that I can use both programs.
So enjoy my work if you feel so inclined and pass some virus-free time with me here on DA!

Thanks for the birthday wishes you all, I was not feeling particularly well and your kind words made my day!
I would also wish to thank the anonymus darling who gifted me with another year of core membership, it's always a surprise for me that there is people who actually like and value my works enough to invest on me and this never cease to make me feel honoured for that.
I'll try to always live up to your expectations and I'll keep in mind all your words and comments to find inspiration and motivation.

Hello dearies!
You may or may not have noticed that I've leaved some groups and I'll probably leave some more ones in the next future.
Group owners, please don't feel offended or rejected for that!
I am revaluating the way I want to manage my stuff and I feel like posting my works in groups more strictly 3d centered or at least  groups dedicated to themes of my interest.
I think that in those mega groups where everyone can post everything my works are dispersed and not valorized like I would and I'm a bit tired of having to peruse thousands of stuff in my watchboard to only find 10% or 20% of art that I actually like or I'm interested in.
I absolutely respect every form of art but DA is simply too vast and I want to concentrate myself on what  really catches my interest.
Kudos to everyone who kindly hosted my stuff and hope you will not think bad of me!
